The Ivanovskiye Lakes are located on the eastern slopes of the Kuznetsky Alatau, between the Bobrovaya and Ararat peaks. They take their name from a well-known Siberian gold manufacturer, Ivanitsky, who had a gold mining business in the area.
The Ivanovskiye Lakes are four lakes of karst origin. The upper lake is connected to the lower lake by a forty-meter waterfall. The lakes are surrounded with snow fields that do not melt even in summer, alpine meadows, mountain streams, and waterfalls.
In the summer, the Ivanovskiye Lakes attract hikers to the mountain slopes. People forage for mushrooms and berries here and even go fishing. In winter, extreme sports lovers come here to descend the mountain slopes near the lakes.

Review of Joshua (Sweden)
I did a three-week intensive course at the school during my Christmas holiday and it was a really great experience.
Tatyana is a great teacher who really has a passion for teaching Russian and the small classes were perfect for quickly improving my spoken Russian. Her and the rest of the staff at the school were very helpful and they did their best to make sure I had a nice stay in Krasnoyarsk. They even arranged extra activities for me to experience life in Krasnoyarsk and practice Russian outside of the classroom.
The school is centrally located and Krasnoyarsk is a small city so you can easily walk everywhere. Don’t be scared by the Siberian cold! Krasnoyarsk is a great winter destination with lots of winter sports activities and My Russian is a great choice if you want to quickly improve your Russian.
